Path dielectric (strip)
Dielectric path — the security measure applied at service of electric equipment in rooms with the increased danger of defeat by electric current (e.g., crude and dusty rooms). To. spread on a floor in front of the equipment in places where contact with the current carrying parts which are energized to 1000 V including before boards and assemblies, at rings and brush devices of generators and electric motors, at test benches, etc. is possible. Apply also in places where inclusion and shutdown (knife switches, disconnectors, switches), management of rheostats, etc. operations with switching and starting devices as to 1000 V, and are made above.
Depending on appointment and service conditions Dielectric rubber paths release two groups:
- For work at a temperature from -30 °C to +70 °C;
- Maslobenzostoykiye, for work at a temperature from -50 °C to +80 °C
